At the home show this weekend, many people have come up to me asking about that “special  grass” that is good for the environment and grows slowly.

Of course I knew they were asking about “Eco-Lawn” seed, available from WildFlower Farm. Here is the link:

I have also posted Wildflower Farm in my links.

Glad to help you out!

Is it better to leave the cut grass on the lawn to biodegrade naturally or collect it for the compost?

      Hi Charlie,
Yes, it is always best to leave the grass clippings on the lawn when you cut it. It decomposes and adds the nutrients back into the soil.
Some people say it does not look nice, however, if a lawn is kept at 2.5 to 3 inches, and cut regularly, it is barely noticeable.
      Great question! Thanks
