Used best as a bedding plant, i also does well in rock gardens, as it is somewhat drought tolerant and it is also hardy to zone 3.  It can also do well in pots, and can be a nice change to replace an Impatiens bed. Varieties come in red, maroon, white, yellow and, green, and in the right scenario it can grow in a mass up to 18″ high. Tolerant to part shad to full sun, this scented annual attracts the birds, bees and, butterflies.
